If you don't have an antivirus installed or your antivirus is not updated, when you create automations that include Outlook activities, Microsoft Outlook may frequently display warnings stating that a program is trying to access email address information or send messages on your behalf, prompting you to allow access every time.
To prevent these messages from being displayed, do one of the following:
- Install an antivirus software, enable antivirus protection, and keep the antivirus up-to-date.
- If you can't install an antivirus or the messages are still displayed even with an antivirus, change the Programmatic Access Security setting in Outlook:
- Log in to Windows using an account with administrator permissions. Only administrators can change this setting.
- Open Outlook, click File, and then click Options.
- In the Outlook Options window, click Trust Center, and then click Trust Center Settings.
- In the Trust Center window, click Programmatic Access, and then select the option Never warn me about suspicious activity (not recommended) to disable the warning messages.
- Click OK twice.
