The Actions Page
Field | Descriptions |
---|---|
Search | Looks for actions that match your input. You can search according to the action title, action id, containing catalog, and assigned user. |
Status Filter | Enables you to filter the page according to the action status . The following options are available: All, Unassigned, Pending, Completed. |
Priority Filter | Enables you to filter the page according to the action priority. The following options are available: All, Critical, High, Medium, Low. The priority is defined in Studio using the corresponding action creation activities. |
Type Filter | Enables you to filter the page according to the action type. The following options are available: All, Form, External, Document Validation. |
Created Filter | Enables you to filter the page according to the time interval in which the action has been generated in Orchestrator. The following options are available: All, Last hour, Last day, Last week, last 30 days. |
Reset to defaults | This button is displayed only if you made changes to any of the filters described above, and enables you to return to the default settings. Please note that this button also resets the number of items displayed per page. |
Status | The status of the action. The following options are available: Unassigned, Pending, Completed. |
Priority | The priority of the action as defined in Studio. The following options are available: Critical, High, Medium, Low. |
Action Id | The id of the action. It is unique and generated in Orchestrator. |
Title | The title of the action as defined in Studio using the corresponding action creation activities. Clicking it opens the action. If it's opened by the same user to whom it's assigned, then it can be validated. If it's opened by a different user, it is read-only. |
Type | The action type according to the activity used for generating it. See here details. |
Catalog | The containing catalog as defined in Studio using the corresponding action creation activities. |
Created | The creation time of the action. |
Assigned to | The user to whom the action has been assigned. It's empty for unassigned actions. Once an assignee has been chosen, the action becomes read-only for the other users. Since external actions assignment is not handled in Orchestrator, this column is populated after completion with the user which handled it. Only displayed for users with Create permissions on Action Assignment. |
More Actions | Displays a menu with the following options: Assign to Self and Open - assigns the action to the current user and opens the action for validation purposes. The assignee is kept even if the action is not validated, Open - opens the action. If it's opened by the same user to whom it's assigned, then it can be validated. If it's opened by a different user, it is read-only. Assign - assign the action to a user. Actions can only be assigned to local users which have access-rights to the active classic folder. Reassign - change the assignee. Only displayed for assigned actions. Unassign - remove the assignee. Only displayed for assigned actions. Only displayed for pending and unassigned actions. |
Complete | Complete the external action. After completion, the assignee corresponding to a specific external action is populated with the user which handled the completion. Only displayed for unassigned, external actions. All users with Edit permissions on Actions can complete an action. These users need to have access to the folder associated with the action. |
Open | Opens the action. If it's opened by the same user to whom it's assigned, then it can be validated. If it's opened by a different user, it is read-only. |
The Assign Action Window
The Reassign Action and Unassign Action windows have the same field descriptions. Only relevant in the context of actions.

Assign to User | A drop-down listing the users to whom the action can be assigned. All directory users are displayed in this drop-down, however only those that have been granted the required permissions to the action-containing folder can be assigned an action. All local users that have been granted the required permissions to the action-containing folder are displayed in this drop-down, and implicitly can be assigned an action. |
Id | The id of the action. It is unique and generated in Orchestrator. |
Title | The title of the action as defined in Studio using the corresponding action creation activities. |
Priority | The priority of the action as defined in Studio. The following options are available: Critical, High, Medium, Low. |
Created On | The creation time of the action. |
