The Tasks Page
Field | Descriptions |
---|---|
Search | Looks for tasks that match your input. You can search according to the task title, task id, containing catalog, and assigned user. |
Status Filter | Enables you to filter the page according to the task status . The following options are available: All, Unassigned, Pending, Completed. |
Priority Filter | Enables you to filter the page according to the task priority. The following options are available: All, Critical, High, Medium, Low. The priority is defined in Studio using the Create Form Task. |
Created Filter | Enables you to filter the page according to the time interval in which the task has been generated in Orchestrator. The following options are available: All, Last hour, Last day, Last week, last 30 days. |
Reset to defaults | This button is displayed only if you made changes to any of the filters described above, and enables you to return to the default settings. Please note that this button also resets the number of items displayed per page. |
Status | The status of the task. The following options are available: Unassigned, Pending, Completed. |
Priority | The priority of the task as defined in Studio using the Create Form Task. The following options are available: Critical, High, Medium, Low. |
Task Id | The id of the task. It is unique and generated in Orchestrator. |
Title | The title of the task as defined in Studio using the Create Form Task activity. Clicking it opens the task form. If it's opened by the same user to whom it's assigned, then it can be validated. If it's opened by a different user, it is read-only. |
Catalog | The containing catalog as defined in Studio using the Create Form Task activity. |
Created | The creation time of the task. |
Assigned to | The user to whom the task has been assigned. It's empty for unassigned tasks. Once an assignee has been chosen, the form becomes read-only for the other users. Only displayed for users with Create permissions on Task Assignment. |
More Actions | Displays a menu with the following options: Assign to Self and Open - assigns the task to the current user and opens the task form for validation purposes. The assignee is kept even if the task is not validated, Open - opens the task form. If it's opened by the same user to whom it's assigned, then it can be validated. If it's opened by a different user, it is read-only. Assign - assign the task to a user. Tasks can only be assigned to local users which have access-rights to the active classic folder. Reassign - change the assignee. Only displayed for assigned tasks. Unassign - remove the assignee. Only displayed for assigned tasks. Only displayed for pending and unassigned tasks. |
Open | Opens the task. If it's opened by the same user to whom it's assigned, then it can be validated. If it's opened by a different user, it is read-only. |
The Assign Task Window
The Reassign Task and Unassign Task windows have the same field descriptions.
Field | Descriptions |

Assign to User | A drop-down listing the users to whom the task can be assigned. All directory users are displayed in this drop-down, however only those that have been granted the required permissions to the task-containing folder can be assigned a task. All local users that have been granted the required permissions to the task-containing folder are displayed in this drop-down, and implicitly can be assigned a task. |
Id | The id of the task. It is unique and generated in Orchestrator. |
Title | The title of the task as defined in Studio using the Create Form Task activity. |
Priority | The priority of the task as defined in Studio using the Create Form Task. The following options are available: Critical, High, Medium, Low. |
Created On | The creation time of the task. |
